Leadership

Project Manager

Project manager roles are short-term and require less time commitment than executive board roles. They're great for growing as a leader. You'll work with an executive board member on your project.

To become a project manager, volunteer when roles are announced. You can also approach the executive board and ask for a role. They're always glad to have help!

Executive Board Member

The executive board meets two hours every week to plan and prepare for upcoming events. They also represent AMA Ferris State in official campus activities. These year-long positions are elected.

Elections are held in late March. New executive board members will have April to learn their roles and start planning for next year in May.

Vice President of Communications

The Vice President of Communications manages our social media channels. They write newsletters & blog posts, design digital media graphics, and update this website! They also manage print media, including event flyers and AMA Ferris State posters.

Rachel Ervin

Rachel is a senior studying marketing. Vice President of Communications is Rachel's first executive board role, she was previously Social Media Project Manager. Rachel loves Jesus, makeup, cooking, traveling, and hanging out with her loved ones. She is also a makeup artist!

Executive President

The Executive President of AMA Ferris State leads meetings and executive board meetings. They represent AMA on campus, including on the Student Advisory Council and when making SAFAC requests. The President oversees our Chapter Plan and Annual Report, helping other board members develop their year-long goals and strategies.

Ivabelle Wilhelm

Ivabelle Wilhelm is a marketing senior with a minor in Spanish language. She loves to travel and has only missed one executive board meeting (she was in Australia). Ivabelle was Vice President of Membership her sophomore year, and has served as President since April 2023. She's proud to be part of an all-female executive board!

Vice President of Membership

The Vice President of Membership creates engaging AMA info slideshows and booths for on-campus events. At the start of every semester, they organize classroom visits to share AMA info. During the year, they plan social events with the Vice President of Community Impact.

Lexi Buntley

Alexis Buntley is a junior studying business administration. On campus, you'll find her givng tours to prospective students. In the summer you will find her at the beach! Lexi loves to read and play card games. This is Lexi's first leadership role with AMA Ferris State.

Vice President of Finance & Fundraising

The Vice President of Finance & Fundraising plans and tracks our annual budget. They recruit sponsors and find donors for our annual gala. Fundraising events are managed by the Vice President of Finance & Fundraising, usually with the help of a project manager.

Emilie Solesby

Emilie Solesby is a junior studying economics. She loves to fish, read, and play pickleball. In addition to her Finance role, Emilie represents AMA Ferris State on the Student Leadership Advisory Board for the College of Business. She loves learning and working with so many amazing leaders!

Vice President of Community Impact

The Vice President of Community Impact leads community outreach projects. They connect us to the Big Rapids community we love and find new ways to share our skills. AMA Ferris State social events are planned by the Vice President of Community and Vice President of Membership.

Ella Marcinak-Jennings

Ella Marcinak-Jennings is a freshman marketing student. She is one of the youngest board members in AMA Ferris State history, and the first to hold this position after it was created in 2024.

Ella has three dogs and loves the outdoors, music, & coffee.

Vice President of Professional Development

The Vice President of Professional Development is key to AMA Ferris State. They plan our professional content for meetings and organize development events. This role can be shared by two board members.

Madelyn Oly

Madelyn Oly is a business administration junior. Madelyn is a licensed real estate at Apex realty group, helping first-time homeowners. Madelyn loves the outdoors and quality time with her friends and family.
