AMA Ferris State is proudly student-run! Our advisors help, but student leaders make the decisions.
Meet our leaders and learn how to become a leader yourself.
Leadership
Project Manager
Project manager roles are short-term and require less time commitment than executive board roles. They're great for growing as a leader. You'll work with an executive board member on your project.
To become a project manager, volunteer when roles are announced. You can also approach the executive board and ask for a role. They're always glad to have help!
Executive Board Member
The executive board meets two hours every week to plan and prepare for upcoming events. They also represent AMA Ferris State in official campus activities. These year-long positions are elected.
Elections are held in late March. New executive board members will have April to learn their roles and start planning for next year in May.

Vice President of External
Communications
The Vice President of External Communications manages our social media channels. They design digital media graphics, and update this website! They also manage print media, including event flyers and AMA Ferris State posters.
"I’m excited to be more involved in AMA this year and to advance my skills alongside my peers."
Emma Mercer
Advisors
Advisors help guide our student leaders' growth. They don't make decisions, but they do answer questions.
Student advisors are seniors in their last semester with at least one year of executive board experience.
