AMA Ferris and AMA LCC (Lansing Community College) are hosting their annual regional conference, with the theme “Always Innovating”.
The event is free and will be taking place on Friday, October 23 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Attendees are not required to be in attendance for the whole day; they can just attend the events that interest them. The conference features several speakers, mock interviews, competitions such as the Marketing Strategy and the Perfect Pitch, and a lunch break for all.
The guest speakers that will be in attendance consist of Chris Holman, a former high school teacher, coach, university instructor, and college Dean, who has become one of Lansing’s most prominent businessmen. Chuck Shults, the Marketing Manager for the healthcare professional liability division of ProAssurance, a specialty insurance carrier based in Birmingham, Alabama. Brad Martin, who has 15-plus years of experience in the development of drugs and biologics, and particular expertise in preclinical development and translational research in the field of cardiovascular physiology and regenerative medicine. And Angela Sommers, who is the Marketing Director at BelleHarvest Sales, Inc, a fresh apple supplier in Belding, MI. She leads the marketing efforts for the sales organization which includes developing campaigns for new varieties and packaging initiatives for retailers.
